A note from Susan…

Photographing weddings is a passion and a privilege. What I enjoy most is seeing little moments of emotion unfold right in front of me and being able to capture it and save that image forever. I am thankful for the trust that my brides and rooms have placed in me. They are willing to allow me to be present, and to document some of the most intimate and important moments of their lives. The couples understanding of my tasteful and an obtrusive approach allows me to let them happen naturally.

Every wedding is unique and every couple will have different needs. I feel it is important to understand what each individual couples needs are. It is my goal to photograph what a special and unique about every wedding. I begin the wedding day without a preconceived idea of what the outcome might be. While there will always be certain images that are needed, such as family and friends, what I enjoy most of the little unplanned moments that come to me like a surprise gift. In the end these are the moments that count. These are the moments that we will want to remember

With over 25 years of experience and hundreds of weddings photographed I still LOVE weddings! I enjoy interacting with my clients and their guest, and am passionate about looking for the little unseen moments that will ultimately tell the story of their day. One of my greatest pleasures is to design a wedding book for couples that will become a part of their families legacy… a story of the day it all started. The art of storytelling through images and print is a powerful combination that every wedding and couple deserve.

As I look back over many thousands of wedding images, the thing that stands out is the timeless classic style. It is difficult to tell a wedding image I captured twenty years ago from one I did last month. They are real and authentic, the images speak for themselves and will stand the test of time.
